Cleanings & Exams

We are happy to help our patients maintain excellent dental health through regular cleanings and examinations. For most people, two annual cleanings and examinations are enough to greatly reduce their risk of tooth decay. For those at higher risk of decay or gum disease, we may recommend more frequent visits. 

During your preventative care visit, our hygienist will remove the accumulated tartar from your teeth by hand and electrically-powered tools. Special attention will be given to any stains.  Then your teeth will be given a polish to make them shine. 

If you are due for X-rays, we will administer them, and a thorough examination will check for any signs of problems that need further treatment.
